If your skin runs oily, the sunscreen question is really a texture question. You want something you stop noticing by mid morning, that holds under makeup, and that you will happily put back on at two in the afternoon.

Two things decide whether a sunscreen works, and neither one is the number on the front. The first is how much you use, because SPF is tested at a density almost nobody applies, and when you use less the protection does not fall in proportion, it falls further than that.
