Calmer, steadier skin that holds on to its moisture.

Your skin flushes easily and takes its time settling down. The marks a breakout leaves behind stay for months, and your face feels dry again by lunch.

Dermal Repair Cream visibly calms redness, locks in hydration and helps skin hold water and look calmer, so it looks more even and feels comfortable all day. Its key ingredient, HSA, is Senté's patented version of heparan sulfate, a molecule your skin makes to hold water. Your skin makes less of it over time, and the natural form is too large to absorb. HSA is small enough to get in.

Who It Is For

Skin that is easily flushed, reactive, dehydrated, dry or congested, skin showing sun damage, and skin recovering post procedure.

Acne Safe

What You Will See, and When

Skin feels more comfortable within days. In a randomized, double blind study, visible redness improved significantly over eight weeks. Give it twelve weeks before you judge the full result.

How to Use

Morning and night after your serums: three to five pumps in the morning and five to eight at night, more if you are dry. Warm it between your fingertips and press it in. Eye cream follows it, and in the morning sunscreen goes on last.

The Science

Heparan sulfate sits on cell surfaces and throughout the tissue between cells. It binds water, and it holds growth factors in place so they can reach the cells that need them. Ultraviolet exposure switches on heparanase, the enzyme that breaks it down, and the loss shows in sun exposed skin but not in sun protected skin on the same person.

Native heparan sulfate is too large and too polar to pass through skin. Senté's low molecular weight analog does, and has been shown to penetrate within 48 hours of once daily application.

In a randomized, double blind clinical study, the cream significantly improved the look of redness over eight weeks.

Questions

Where does it go in my routine? After your serums, morning and night. Eye cream follows it, and in the morning sunscreen goes on last.
Can I use it with a retinoid?Yes. Apply your retinoid first and this cream over it.
What does it feel like?A medium weight cream that sinks in without residue and sits well under sunscreen and makeup. Fragrance free.

Why a Routine Made for You Works Better

General advice is written for everyone, so it has to assume nothing about you. It can tell you what is safe. It cannot tell you what will work for your skin.

Skin changes when it is challenged just enough, then given time to recover and adapt. That amount is different for every person, and it moves as your skin gets stronger. Ask too much and your skin spends its energy recovering instead of improving. Ask too little and nothing changes. Finding that point for you, and moving it at the right time, is where results come from.

Where that point sits depends on:

  • Your skin: its history, how it reacts, and what it is doing today
  • Your health: hormones, medications, pregnancy and any condition that changes how skin behaves
  • Your lifestyle: sleep, stress, diet, sun, exercise and climate
  • Your routine: what you use now, and what has and has not worked before
  • Your goals: what you most want to change
  • Your expectations and timeline: how soon you want to see change, and what is realistic for your skin
  • Your consistency: how much time and how many steps you will keep up with, because the best routine is the one you actually do
  • Your treatments: what you have had and what you have planned

A skin therapist weighs all of this, builds a routine you can keep, and adjusts it as your skin responds. That is why we guarantee our products when they are part of a routine designed by one of our skin therapists. If you have been reading general advice, bring your questions. We will help you sort out what applies to you and what does not.
