Trio Rebalancing Moisture Treatment
Deep hydration that feels weightless.
Your skin feels dry and tight no matter how much you apply, and fine lines look deeper by the end of the day. You want real, lasting moisture without the weight.
Trio Rebalancing Moisture Treatment hydrates deeply and helps skin hold on to that moisture, so it looks smoother, suppler and more radiant. Its patented formula supplies all three things skin uses to stay moisturized on its own: natural moisturizing factors like urea and sodium PCA, the barrier lipids cholesterol, ceramides and fatty acids, and hyaluronic acid. That balance is how it gives heavy hydration without the weight.
Who It Is For
Skin that feels dry, tight or less supple than it used to.
Acne Safe
What You Will See, and When
Skin feels hydrated from the first application. In clinical study, fine lines, brightness, texture and hydration improved significantly within two weeks, with further gains by week eight.
How to Use
Use morning and night after your serums. Smooth a thin layer over your face, ears, neck, chest and the backs of your hands. At night, eye cream goes on after it as your last step. In the morning, follow with eye cream and then sunscreen, which always goes on last.
The Science
Skin stays moisturized through three systems working together: natural moisturizing factors inside the surface cells that attract water, lipids between those cells that stop it escaping, and hyaluronic acid that holds water in the tissue. Trio supplies all three in one cream.
In a lab model of human skin, the cream increased hydration and raised the activity of genes linked to barrier and hydration, including aquaporins, claudins and hyaluronic acid synthase, while lowering hyaluronidase, the enzyme that breaks hyaluronic acid down.
In a clinical study of twice daily use in adults with sun damaged skin, fine lines, brightness, texture and hydration improved significantly at two weeks. By week eight, every measure had improved significantly.
Questions
Why a Routine Made for You Works Better
General advice is written for everyone, so it has to assume nothing about you. It can tell you what is safe. It cannot tell you what will work for your skin.
Skin changes when it is challenged just enough, then given time to recover and adapt. That amount is different for every person, and it moves as your skin gets stronger. Ask too much and your skin spends its energy recovering instead of improving. Ask too little and nothing changes. Finding that point for you, and moving it at the right time, is where results come from.
Where that point sits depends on:
- Your skin: its history, how it reacts, and what it is doing today
- Your health: hormones, medications, pregnancy and any condition that changes how skin behaves
- Your lifestyle: sleep, stress, diet, sun, exercise and climate
- Your routine: what you use now, and what has and has not worked before
- Your goals: what you most want to change
- Your expectations and timeline: how soon you want to see change, and what is realistic for your skin
- Your consistency: how much time and how many steps you will keep up with, because the best routine is the one you actually do
- Your treatments: what you have had and what you have planned
A skin therapist weighs all of this, builds a routine you can keep, and adjusts it as your skin responds. That is why we guarantee our products when they are part of a routine designed by one of our skin therapists. If you have been reading general advice, bring your questions. We will help you sort out what applies to you and what does not.
