Welcome

These terms of service apply to your use of shop.sapienskinseattle.com and any related services operated by Sapien Aesthetics LLC, doing business as Sapien Skin + Beauty. By browsing our site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here, with the effective date at the bottom. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age and that the information you provide is accurate.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Products and information

We do our best to describe our products accurately, including ingredients, usage, and pricing. That said, we are human and sometimes errors happen. Colors, textures, and finishes may also look slightly different on your screen than in person.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, update product information, or change pricing at any time without notice. If you have already placed an order at an incorrect price, we will reach out before charging you.

Our skincare and retail products are cosmetics intended for general use on healthy skin. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a specific skin condition, allergy, or are pregnant or nursing, please consult your provider before starting a new product.

Some items, including professional-strength products, medications, and treatments offered through our medical spa or telehealth services, are handled under separate terms and may require a consultation, intake, or prescription. Those services are not governed by these terms.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inventory issues, or shipping limitations.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use that payment method.

All prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes or shipping unless stated otherwise.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Once your order leaves our hands, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier. If your package is lost or stolen after being marked delivered, we are happy to help you file a claim with the carrier, but we are not able to replace those orders.

Returns and refunds

Our return policy is posted separately on the site. Please review it before purchasing.

Subscriptions

If you sign up for a subscription product through Subscribe and Save, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the schedule you select. You can modify, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by emailing support@sapienskin.com. Cancellations made after a subscription order has already processed will apply to your next billing cycle.

Gift cards

Gift card purchases are final. Gift cards cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for cash. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

Membership

Sapien Cult membership has its own terms, which are provided at the time of enrollment. Membership benefits, pricing, and rules are governed by those terms, not by this document.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site, including our name, logo, photography, written content, product descriptions, and design, belongs to Sapien Aesthetics LLC or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written consent.

You are welcome to share our content on social media in a way that credits us and respects our brand.

User content

If you submit reviews, photos, comments, or other content to our site or social platforms, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display, and share that content in connection with our business. You confirm that the content is yours to share and does not violate anyone else's rights.

We reserve the right to remove any user content at our discretion.

Acceptable use

Please do not use our site to do anything illegal, harmful, or disruptive. This includes attempting to access parts of the site you are not authorized to use, interfering with the site's operation, scraping or collecting data without permission, or using the site to harass others.

Disclaimers

The site and our products are provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site, its content, or the products sold through it.

Skincare results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any specific result from any product, and individual experience depends on many factors including skin type, lifestyle, consistency of use, and other products in your routine.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sapien Aesthetics LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to a product purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Some states do not allow certain limitations on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Sapien Aesthetics LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
