The Science
Exosomes are nano sized vesicles. Each carries proteins, peptides and antioxidant enzymes. Plated's exosomes come from human platelets. They are sourced from regulated US donation banks and purified by gentle filtration that keeps each vesicle's outer membrane intact, which is why the serum is stable at room temperature.
In a double blind, placebo controlled study, 39 women and men with self perceived thinning hair applied the serum daily. A blinded evaluator found significant improvements in the look of volume and fullness, density, scalp coverage and overall appearance, with results better than placebo at three and six months. Participants also reported better looking thickness, strength and overall hair health.
